The Water Resources division allows for online submittal of watercourse encroachment permit for projects that are proposing to modify or improve any levee, embankment, channel, dam, stream gauge, or stream protection work. This includes drainage ditches, water courses, channel or conduits that are maintained by the San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District. Additionally, individuals can request historic flood and flood zone information online.
