San Joaquin County will never ask you to pay permit or other fees by wire transfer. Fees can be paid in person, by mail, or through the online Accela portal. If you receive a suspicious payment request, don't pay. Contact us at 209-468-8004 to verify.

Complete the application and submit to the EHD by mail, email, or fax.
Submit fees. Fees are $162 per well or boring and can be paid in person at the EHD office, online here, or by mailing a check.
Staff will review your application and may contact you with additional questions. You will be notified when your application is approved.
