Thinking of opening a restaurant, bar or retail food facility in San Joaquin County? Below are some of the steps you will need to follow:
Customers can choose to apply online through San Joaquin County’s Online Permitting System. First time users will need a valid email address to set up an account. It takes about 5 minutes to create a new account.
Click on the Apply Online button to apply.
When prompted, upload CFO application and sample of label. See the "CFO Registration-Permitting Form" in the Documents tab for specific requirements.
Pay fees when prompted and submit the application.
Staff will review your application and may contact you with additional questions. You will be notified when your application is approved.
